For a little while some people (I'm looking at you :iconbuttercupminiatures: :p) were trying to talk me into a non stock account for my photos, stuff that I took for my own personal entertainment and without stock in mind. So after a little unplanned photo shoot with my cat, Thunder (when I opened the door to go into the garden he was out like a shot and posing for the camera...) I thought it may just be time to open that non stock account.

So if you want to see what I've been taking photos of go to whitewolfphotos.deviantart.com and feast your eyes!

These images have been taken primarily as stock images to give people a reference or for photo-manipulating. However there are a few ground rules that you need to follow if you use my stock, they are:

Bullet; Blue Credit me either by linking back to the stock you used or to my profile
Bullet; Blue Be creative, don't just recolour or retouch (I can do that myself!)
Bullet; Blue Drop me a note in the comments so I can see what you've done with it
Bullet; Blue Don't create anything that will make my Mam blush, she does check my DA account (she's fine with anything that Michaelangelo would have created so don't worry about tasteful/artful nudity)
Bullet; Blue Don't go complaining about the quality, not everything on here is for photo manipulators, some of it is for reference
Bullet; Blue DO NOT sell my stock, use my stock for commercial works or anything you intend to make money off (DA prints are fine) or in anyway use this stock for personal gain
:bulletblue: These pictures are NOT in the public domain (they are offered under a non commercial attribution licence)
:bulletblue: If a piece is stated that it is for reference only that means you can only use it to work off, things like giving you an idea of how it should look or a typical pose for the thing in question. IT IS NOT FOR STOCK USE
:bulletblue: Please don't just cut things out and offer them as stock, or glue two images together and offer them as a premade background, if you want to make a premade background then make sure it conforms to these rules and you give me a heads up that you have done this

If I think that a piece of stock is getting too much abuse or is being frequently used for stuff that goes against these rules I will take it down. If I feel the need to make a change to these rules I will.

Please don't complain about the stock or the rules, if it's not something you like just move on. I have gone to some trouble with some of this stock, including trudging through 9 inches of snow (I'm British, if we get over 4 inches it's a catastrophe!). If you like it drop me a comment or a fave and make my day!

If you're not sure, ask. I'm not an ogre, honest!

I used to thank everybody personally for their favourites, but you're being so generous with them now that it'd take me a few hours everyday just to say thanks! I do really appreciate favourites, watches and, of course, llamas and occasionally I may drop you a thanks if you've faved a lot of my work. Thank you everyone!

Use of Stock

These images are fine to be used as stock but only on the conditions that:

a) You credit me by linking back to my original stock or profile
b) You DO NOT use them for anything you intend to make money off which includes selling them as stock (DA prints are fine though)
c) You comment in the stock with a link back to the art you've made with it (I love seeing what people have made from stock images)
d) Use them for something creative, just changing the colours or cutting something out doesn't count
e) You don't complain about the quality, most of these photos have been taken to provide a reference, so they don't need to be perfect

If I get a lot of negative comments or feel that my stock is being used unfairly I will remove it. I have been known to go to trouble to get stock images, such as tramping through 8 inches of snow (I'm British, more than 4 inches is a catastrophe!) so please show a little encouragement.

That all said I've been overwhelmed with the response to my stock thus far so thank you all!
